Jeffrey N. Edwards
Jeffrey Edwards is Partner and Chief Operating Officer of New Vernon Capital, LLC. Prior to New Vernon Capital, he spent 22 years at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., most recently as Vice Chairman. Previous positions included Chief Financial Officer, Head of Investment Baking for Americas, Head of Global Capital Markets and Financing, and Co-head of Global Equities. Prior to that, he spent 3 years at Chase Manhattan Bank. He was also Director of NASDAQ Stockmarket Inc. from 2004-2006. He currently serves as a Trustee of The Pingry School and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey Foundation. Mr. Edwards received his B.S. degree in physics from Haverford College in 1982 and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1987.
